Claudio Santo Malavenda
Claudio Santo Malavenda is an electronic engineer, graduated with honors in automation and robotics. He continued his education by earning an MBA in 2008 and a PhD in 2014, focusing on the management of innovative wireless embedded systems. Over his career, he has held roles of increasing responsibility in leading companies in the defense electronics sector, such as ST Microelectronics, Elsag-Datamat (now Leonardo S.p.A.) and Elettronica S.p.A., managing and launching innovative projects with an international scope.
He contributed to the discussion on system security for cyber and electromagnetic activities (CEMA), publishing articles and books in the field of network security, data-fusion algorithms, and Command and Control doctrines. He also holds international patents.
Since 2020, he has started his own professional activity with C5I®, offering management consulting services to SMEs and startups. He supports companies in transformation, digitalization and internationalization processes, in line with the Industry 5.0 framework and process optimization, guiding the release of innovative products or first production runs.
Claudio is also an Export Manager certified by Federmanager, a lifetime member of the Association of Old Crows, serves as European liaison for AFCEA International on cybersecurity topics, and is president of the Automation and Home Automation committee at the Order of Engineers of Rome.
